About House Price

House Price is a small residential-property-price desk. A Younivi publication from New Zealand. There is no research floor, no sales desk and no invented masthead of analysts.

The product is narrow on purpose. The all-countries pages show one series at a time: the house price index at 2015=100, year-over-year change (derived), the OECD real house price index, and the OECD price-to-income ratio. Each page has a filterable chart, a ranked table, a short explanation, and a citation.

The /all/ desk lists every licensed economy. Country desks at /us/, /uk/, /ca/, /au/, /de/, /fr/, /it/, /ea/, /ie/, /kr/, /ch/, /se/, /no/, /nz/ use the same figures. They only turn the menu toward that reader and show a related-country subset. They do not invent a local series we have not ingested.

Younivi publishes this as an information project. It is not a bank and not a financial-advice provider. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or finance a dwelling.
