Sources and construction
For nominal house-price series, the build selects the longer current OECD Analytical House Prices or Eurostat PRC_HPI_Q history, using the later last quarter to break an equal-span tie. A current UK House Price Index takes precedence for the United Kingdom; its monthly values are averaged to quarters and rebased to 2015=100. For Australia, rebased ABS mean dwelling prices can be a conditional fallback when the selected index is stale or short. ABS mean prices are not a quality-adjusted HPI. Each economy's page names the actual source and licence.
Other measures and updates
Real house prices, price-to-income and price-to-rent are OECD measures. Younivi derives year-over-year percentages from the published nominal index four quarters earlier; these are not official agency growth series. If a download fails, the build can retain a previously downloaded raw file. No eligible current series means the economy is omitted. We do not invent missing observations.
No warranty
We try to reproduce the source files accurately, but do not warrant that these pages are complete, current or free from transcription and plotting errors. Official institutions may revise past observations; a later rebuild can therefore change a historical value.
Publication delay
This is not a live data feed. Values change according to official release schedules and when this site is rebuilt. Check the date and source shown with a series before relying on it.
